The Manufacturing Assembler and Quality Controller is a fulltime position that supports the engineering team of Advanced Solutions, primarily in the Life Sciences subsidiary. They will ensure a successful customer experience by assisting the engineers in assembling the BioAssemblyBot®, in order to insure timely delivery to Customers. This position works closely with the engineering team to improve quality of assembly, testing, and calibration documentation. This position reports to Engineer Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing BioAssemblyBots – This includes working with hand and power tools.

  • Testing and evaluation of manufactured products to ensure it functions as intended. This may include testing the software installed on the unit.

  • Ability to work closely with manufacturing resources to provide information if a defect is found.

  • Assists with Quality Assurance testing and calibration activities for products when needed.

  • Escalates unresolved issues to senior staff.

  • Researches, verifies, and documents product defects and enhancement requests.

  • Actively collaborates within technical team by information sharing and workload balancing

  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to follow assembly and wiring instructions for the BioAssemblyBot®

  • Experience with electrical panel wiring is desired

  • Experience with creation of custom cable harness is desired

  • Comfortable with wiring and soldering

  • Comfortable working with electronics

  • Basic PC knowledge

  • Experience with product assembly (Electrical and Mechanical)

  • Able to read schematics

  • Attention to detail and sensitive to time deadlines

  • Must be able to multitask

  • Able to handle and resolve issues in a professional manner

  • Possess a positive attitude

  • Takes on new tasks with enthusiasm

  • Possesses solid work ethic, self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School education or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s Degree desirable

Compensation:
